Strategic Communication with Multiple Audiences: Polyphony, Text Stakeholders, and Argumentation

In today’s complex and hyper-digital environments, organizations social actors need to deal with multiple audiences when designing public messages. This makes strategic communication markedly polyphonic as various voices, corresponding different stakeholders, must be managed within a single communication. article develops conceptual framework combining linguistic theories of discourse polyphony stakeholder-based model rhetorical (the Text Stakeholder Model). The proposed approach allows reconstruct micro-level strategies consisting in arguments adapted audience demand. To showcase the method, examines, case study, an open letter CEO, which represents genre financial communication, authors formally direct their addressed CEO while conveying other text who participate unaddressed audiences. study identifies patterns argumentative signaled by markers such negations, pronouns, concessive clauses. These are not necessarily based on ambiguity, suggesting that presence can accommodate variety discursive resources. contributes current research focuses analysis assessement message strategy dynamics
